The “fête du cassis” is a convivial, educational, popular festival. It take’s place in Nuits Saint Georges on September 4th and September 5th of 2010.

The “fête du cassis”, (blackcurrant festival) lets you discover everything about the cassis. Pressed, producers, transformers or users, the cassis will be exhibited under all its shapes.

Activities around the cassis are proposed:

• Greedy discovers around the cassis
• How it was used to be pressed
• visits
• presentation of the products

The festival will propose a free degustation with the possibility to buy the special glass “Blanc-Cass” at 4, 50 €.
